It allows the viewing of case files which includes an interactive map showing reconstructions and key appeal points. Users have the opportunity to play the role of amateur detective, therefore, keeping them more engaged with the show.
Keeping within the theme of making viewers feel more involved, a moderated community part of the app allows users to view and post ongoings in their local area. Other users part of the community has the ability to post comments, photos, and videos to help raise awareness.
